How club deposits work
The part of a club fee you get back when your child comes to the club.
What the deposit is
Some club fees include an attendance deposit. It is part of the price. You get it back if your child comes to the club.
The club page says how much the deposit is, and the rule for getting it back.
The rules
Each club uses one of these rules:
- Every session: the whole deposit back if your child comes to every session.
- A minimum share: the whole deposit back if your child comes to a set share of sessions, for example 90%.
- A sliding scale: more sessions, more back.
Cancelled sessions never count. Depending on the rule, being late or absent with a reason (for example illness) can count as attending.
Your choice
You choose to get the deposit back, or to give it to the club as a donation. See Choose what happens to a club deposit.
You can change your choice until the school starts to give the deposits back, when the club ends.
